What is a hot runner temperature controller?
A hot runner controller measures the temperature of the runner heaters in a plastic injection mould via thermocouple feedback and keeps it constant with a PID algorithm. Each zone is controlled independently, so the melt temperature stays even across all nozzles, scrap drops and part quality improves.
How many zones do Elotek controllers support?
EHRTC-PM1 is built in 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 zones; EHRTC-RM2 in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 zones as standard. Higher zone counts are configured on request.
Are the controllers made in Türkiye?
Yes. All EHRTC hot runner controllers, SSRs and DC motor control boards are 100% designed and manufactured at our facility in İkitelli OSB, Istanbul.
How long does technical service take?
For Elotek-made units, service takes at most 3 business days including parts supply. After repair approval, the unit is repaired and shipped within 4 business days.
What is the warranty period?
All products sold via elotek.com.tr carry at least a two-year manufacturer or authorised distributor warranty.
Do you repair out-of-warranty units?
Yes, all electronic units manufactured by Elotek can be repaired out of warranty. For third-party products we refer you to the importer.
How do I get a price quote?

Do you also make mould connection cables and connectors?
Yes. We make thermocouple and heater cables in any length with Harting-type connectors; standard wiring diagrams are in the catalog.
Do you export?
Yes. Our catalog price list is quoted in USD and the catalog is bilingual (TR/EN). Contact us for an export quote and shipping options for your country.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer / SWIFT, and for domestic customers credit card via our online store (iyzico).
Product specific
EHRTC-PM1: What is the difference between EHRTC-PM1 and EHRTC-RM2?
PM1 is a semi-modular system whose power stage sits outside the unit in an easily accessible section. RM2 is a fully modular rack: each zone module carries its own power stage and the unit is fan cooled. PM1 suits small and medium zone counts; RM2 suits heavy production and fast module swaps.
EHRTC-PM1: Which thermocouple types are supported?
J type (Fe-CuNi) and K type (NiCr-Ni). The sensor type is selected in the controller program.
EHRTC-PM1: Does production stop if a thermocouple fails?
No. On thermocouple break or failure the controller switches automatically to proportional (percentage) output and raises an alarm, so you can continue in a controlled way.
EHRTC-PM1: How many zones are available?
1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 zones as standard. Higher zone counts are configured on request, e.g. two 12-zone units for 24 zones.
EHRTC-RM2: If one module fails, do I have to send the whole unit?
No. In the RM2 the power stage sits on each zone module. You remove and send only the faulty module; the other zones keep running.
EHRTC-RM2: What does Ramp / Soft-Start do?
Heaters absorb moisture when idle for a long time. Soft-Start raises the temperature gradually to drive moisture out safely, extending heater life.
EHRTC-RM2: How long does service take?
For all Elotek-made units, technical service takes at most 3 business days including parts supply.
ELOTEK SSR 25A: Is this the same relay used in EHRTC controllers?
Yes. It is the same product family as the 25 A solid state relay in the EHRTC-PM1 external power stage and is available as a spare part.
ELOTEK SSR 25A: Why does zero-cross switching matter?
The load is switched at the zero point of the mains voltage, which reduces electrical noise and inrush stress on the heater; control is more stable and heater life is longer.
DC Motor Control V1 & V2: Which applications are the boards suited for?
Primarily core-drilling machine panels; they also drive DC motors in industrial machinery, robotics, automation and conveying systems.
DC Motor Control V1 & V2: How do I choose between V1 and V2?
Use V1 if you run from mains (220/230 V AC); use V2 if you have a low-voltage 6–30 V AC supply. If unsure, send us your application and we will pick the right model together.
Automotive Sensors: Can you produce a sensor for a specific vehicle model?
Yes. We develop and serially produce on a project basis from a sample or technical drawing. Contact us for details.
